We bought the building and land from them in 2000 with a horrendous mortgage, a tremendous struggle to pay every month, but we did. The facilities, as we bought them, consisted of a 15,000 square feet clubhouse plus a couple of auxiliary buildings on 6 1/2 acres of land.

Early in 2006, we sold off the back half of the land for more money than we paid for everything in 2000. This allowed us to pay off the mortgage (phew, what a relief) and to put money in the bank. We're beginning to spend a little bit of our 'spare change' to give this beloved facility a much needed facelift.
