First Annual Chili Cook-off - November 11, 2006

November 11, 2006 our Legion hosted its first annual chili cook-off for the benefit of "Children in Distress". I have always thought it a bit preposterous to call an event the first annual anything but considering the success of this, I think, it is appropriate. it has already been decided to hold a sequel in April. So get ready and stay tuned for further details.

What a day we had. Six contestants spend all morning applying their secret recipes for the best chili. John and Darren took first price, while Janet and Phil walked away with second.

I don't know about you, but I don't want to see another bowl of chili for a while.
