Message
from the Senior Regent
Chapter 1699's new Board of
Officers would like to say "Thank You" to
all the co - workers. We are proud that you
have elected us as your representatives for
the ensuing year. Thank you again for your
confidence and support.
Our Chapter meetings are held on the 1st
and 3rd Mondays of each month at 7:00 PM.
The purpose of these meetings is to inform
co - workers to what the Chapter has planned
and gives all co - workers a voice in
upcoming decisions. Please join us at
Chapter Meetings and let your voice be
heard. We plan on having fun and you will
meet other co - workers and make new
friends.
As in past years, our Chapter will be
working with The Loyal Order of the Moose
and the Moose Legion. We will be working
together as a team to have fun while helping
make this a successful year. By working
together it increases the Lodges volunteer
base, still sometimes it's not enough. We
all know volunteering is what makes a Lodge
function smoothly. If you have ever watched
the Men's Lodge Ritual there is a sentence I
like and believe in. It says "A burden heavy
to one is borne lightly by many" (It is so
true). So if you are willing to volunteer
(men or women) for events or functions, talk
to any Chapter or Lodge Officer. I'm sure
they would be glad to help you.
Julie Penton, Our Star Recorder Chairman
and her committee held our Chapters first
function of the new year, Mexican Fiesta
Night, Friday May 7, 2010. Thanks to
everyone that attended, YOU helped make this
function a great success. And a BIG THANKS
to Julie and her Committee. "A JOB WELL
DONE".
Remember to keep an eye out for event
flyers around the Lodge and be sure to check
out the Lodge's Newsletter. Keeping informed
is the best way to know what's going on. As
I stated earlier our Chapter and the Lodge
will be working together and your ideas are
important to us. If you have any ideas we
would like to hear from you. With the
Chapter and Lodge working together this will
be a great year.
See you at the Lodge,
